Justice G. Diane Stewart returns to the Eugene Dupuch Law School family as Associate Tutor in Civil Practice and Procedure II. Justice Stewart was called to The Bahamas Bar in 1985 after attending York University and the University of the West Indies (UWI).

Before her appointment to the Supreme Court, Justice Stewart was a Partner at McKinney, Bancroft & Hughes specialising in Civil Litigation specifically, Banking, Insurance, Competition & Family Law. She has also served as an Acting Stipendiary Magistrate, a member of the Council of The College of The Bahamas (now University of The Bahamas), the Registrar of Examinations for The Bahamas Bar Association, and the Chairman of the Mental Health Review Tribunal. She was also a Director of FirstCaribbean International Bank. She is presently the Vice-Chancellor of the Anglican Diocese of The Bahamas & Turks & Caicos Islands

Justice Stewart She is passionate about, providing mentorship to young lawyers. Outside of her professional career, she enjoys reading, music, playing the piano and directing a choir. She also volunteers with her church and is an avid supporter of the Zonta Club of New Providence and the AIDS Foundation.
