Attorney General of the Turks and Caicos gives Commencement Address at Graduation

RBNAttorney-General of the Turks and Caicos Islands, Mrs. Rhondalee Brathwaite-Knowles delivered the charge to graduates at the Law School’s 2015 presentation ceremony. Mrs. Brathwaite-Knowles is a graduate of the first class of the Eugene Dupuch Law School and is the Turks and Caicos Weekly News 2014 Person of the Year.

Mrs. Brathwaite-Knowles spoke on four core values of good citizenship: Education, Leadership, Community Service, and Character. “Find your own goal for excellence and commit yourself to conquering it with all your might” she stated, as she encouraged the graduates to consider the impact that they could have on society as legal professionals who embrace these ideals on a daily basis.

AG Braithwaite-Knowles also reminded graduates of our Law School’s motto: Excellence in Legal Education and Commitment to Social Service. “Excellence and Commitment are key terms in that motto and I encourage you to allow these key words to ring true in your professional lives on a daily basis.  May they be your guiding principles to be applied to all of your choices whether big or small.”
