Turks and Caicos Islands Study Tour

On Thursday 6th April 2023 the Eugene Dupuch Law School (Law School) was delighted to host a delegation from the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) who visited the Law School as part of a Study Tour to The Bahamas. The delegation from TCI was led by the Honourable Rachel Taylor, Minister of Education, Labour, Employment and Customer Service; Keisha Taylor, Deputy Permanent Secretary; Dr. Candice Williams, President of the Community College; Dr. Barbara Ambrister, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Community College; Kevin Baxter, Vocational Dean of TVET; and Beverly Harvey, Assistant Administrator. The TCI delegation and the Law School engaged in discussions about how the Law School and various institutions in the Turks and Caicos Islands could collaborate particularly around the development and delivery of professional development programmes to enhance the legal education and other skills of various stakeholder groups.
