Price Media Law Moot 2014

Our students Bryann Hepburn, Crispin Hall and Akeira Martin recently represented our school in the Price Media Moot in New York City. They worked enormously hard in preparation, with long hours of research and training, and as expected, they executed remarkably well at the event.

The judges were thoroughly impressed with the EDLS team and repeatedly remarked on how impressive our students’ knowledge of the law was, how they consistently provided the Court with a road map on where they wanted to take the court, and how they never forgot to humanize their client at every opportunity throughout the arguments.

Of Akeira, on judge remarked….“outlined argument well, good time management, gave a very good conclusion”. For Bryann, one remark was…“clear, focused presentation, good at arguing the facts and distinguishing hypotheticals” posed by the court. Similarly, Crispin was complimented as being “comfortable”, showing “excellent logic” and “good flexibility in thinking….when challenged”.

So, our team did us all proud. Hearty congratulations and lots of thanks for making the sacrifice that was required and for performing so very well on our behalf.
