Law School Tutor appointed as Registrar of the Supreme Court of The Bahamas – September 9, 2021
The Eugene Dupuch Law School extends its sincere congratulations to Ms. Constance Delancy on her appointment as Registrar of the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas effective September 9, 2021. In addition to her appointment as Registrar of the Supreme Court, Ms. Delancy will continue to hold the designation and discharge the duties of Senior Court Administrator.
Ms. Delancy has been serving on the faculty of the Law School as an Associate Tutor for fourteen years and is currently the Associate Tutor for Conveyancing & Registration of Title (Year II).
Constance Delancy is a graduate of the University of The Bahamas (formerly College of The Bahamas). She was called to The Bahamas Bar in 1994 after articling with the late Emerick A. Knowles, Q.C. in the Law Chambers of Alexiou, Knowles & Co. Ms. Delancy worked as an Associate at Alexiou, Knowles & Co. (1994-1998) and as sole practitioner (1998-2011). She was a Stipendiary and Circuit Court Magistrate (2011-2017) and Deputy Registrar and acting Director of Court Services of the Supreme Court of The Bahamas until her appointment.
Her professional affiliations include memberships in The Bahamas Bar Association and the Caribbean Association of Judicial Officers.
