In November, items collected for the Eugene Dupuch Law School Students’ Association (EDLSSA) Hurricane Joaquin Relief Drive were donated to the National Emergency Management Association (NEMA) to assist with relief efforts on our hardest hit islands.

EDLSSA President Kandice Maycock was pleased with the support that they received from staff and students for this initiative. “We were able to provide food, clothing, cleaning supplies, diapers, and personal hygiene products to NEMA for distribution to affected families. As law students, it is important for us to not only strive for academic excellence but to also be active, contributing members of society” she said.

The EDLSSA has planned a number of charitable initiatives for this academic year that demonstrates their commitment to social service.
