EDLS mourns the passing of one of it’s colleagues of the Hugh Wooding Law School

The Eugene Dupuch Law School extends its deepest condolences to Dana Seetahal’s family and friends, to the Hugh Wooding Law School and all others who knew and cared for her.

Dana taught as a Full time Tutor at the Hugh Wooding Law School and more recently as an Associate, for many, many years. She was known throughout the region for her legal acumen and  tenacity, particularly in the area of criminal law practice and procedure. Dana was the first and to date, the only graduate of the Council of Legal Education to serve the Trinidad Law Association as its President.  She had a distinguished career of some 35 years serving as a magistrate, state prosecutor, independent senator and defence attorney with distinction and integrity.
