2014 Annual Student Dinner

The Annual Student Dinner is held to foster a corporate spirit between law students, Bench and Bar.  It is a forum where students utilize social skills and interact with seniors in a relaxing and collegial environment. This year’s dinner was held at the Windsor Ballroom, British Colonial Hilton Hotel on Thursday, November 20.  The keynote address was delivered by former Senator, Mrs. Cheryl Bazard, attorney-at-law and Director of Compliance, Scotia Bank (Bahamas) Ltd.  Mrs. Bazard’s topic, “Is the practice of Law a matter of Winning/Losing?” was entirely engaging and thought-provoking. The Hon. Mr. Justice Stanley John, Justice of the Court of Appeal gave the Loyal Toast. A good time was had by all in attendance.
