DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Eugene Dupuch Law School\, the Caribbean Association of Judicial Officers (CAJO)\, and APEX – The Caribbean Agency for Justice Solutions (APEX)\, partnered to produce a series of Law & Society Webinars that addressed a number of pressing regional issues fundamental to the development\, prosperity and the continued success of all Caribbean peoples. \n  \n  \nThis Webinar was designed to explore the genesis issue of the right to citizenship in its constitutional context particularly against the decision in the Supreme Court of The Bahamas of Rolle v the Attorney General 2017/PUB/con/00014 and its implications.  Presenters and participants also discussed the rights and obligations of citizenship and the policy considerations behind the imposition of discrimination and distinctions made in the conferment of citizenship. The panelists\, who presented on matters related to policy\, law\, and industry considerations were Dr. Niambi Hall-Campbell Dean\, Assistant Professor\, University of The Bahamas\, Mr. Kahlil D. Parker\, President\, The Bahamas Bar Association\, Mr. Ruggles Ferguson\, President of the Organization of the Commonwealth Caribbean Bar Association\, and Ms. Tracy Robinson\, Deputy Dean\, Faculty of Law\, UWI\, Mona Campus.
