Human Rights Clinic

In this specialist clinic, students explore human rights law issues and cases arising from socio-legal matters concerning, amongst other things, the right to life and quality of life, judicial killings by the police and the coroner’s court process. In this context students will examine the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and its protocols.

The Clinic would also treat with issues such as homelessness, including the right to adequate housing, freedom of movement and association, privacy, freedom from discrimination and equality before the law, life liberty and the security of the person, culture and participation in public life.
