PRESENTATION OF GRADUATES 2016

The Ceremony for the Presentation of Graduates of the Eugene Dupuch Law School was held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the Melia Nassau Beach Hotel.

Twenty students from the Two Year Program received the Legal Education Certificate.  Eighteen students were from The Bahamas, one from the British Virgin Islands and one from Trinidad & Tobago.  Two 6 Month students, one from the United States of America and the other from Canada received the Legal Education Certificate. Mr.  Reginald Armour S.C., Chairman of the Council of Legal Education presented the Certificates.  To date, four hundred and seventeen students have graduated from the Law School.

The Presentation Address was delivered by former Chief Justice Sir Michael Barnett, KT.   Sir Michael reminded graduates that the profession they have chosen carries with it great responsibility and imposes very high standards.  The Chief Justice spoke to core values that would serve them during their career.
